12. Amelia

Amelia is a well-known appointment booking plugin, but it has a new module – Events! When it comes to the event module, you can create events that last one or multiple days and set a recurring option for each event if you need it. You also have the option to choose when the booking for the event will open and close, you can add location, assign an employee or multiple employees, add a description, images and price, and you can also choose the color for each event. You can add a tag to each event, and customers can filter by the tag in the frontend.

If you use Amelia for both appointments and event, if you have an employee who works on the event, the timeslots in that period will be automatically removed from appointment booking. So no way to overbook.

Events can be shown in a nice looking frontend calendar, and if you will you can keep them there even if they are closed for bookings or if they have passed, it up to you.
